A Photojournalist Who Documented Afghan Women’s Lives Is Now Helping To Save Them

The Globe & Mail

Interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Lynsey Addario (TIME, National Geographic, New York Times) on how she has been trying to get high-risk women who helped Western troops and journalists, out of Afghanistan. Lynsey has risked her life photographing women living under the Taliban regime pre 9/11 and has been ambushed by them post 9/11 under the American and allied occupation. She was also one of four New York Times journalists kidnapped in Libya in 2011.
